HELENIS is a special boat imagined in 2009.
The first concept was only an exterior project but in 2013 I decided to model it with 3Ds Max. I began to draw plans from old sketches I did for the original project, and I began to create the first 3D views of the boat. When I worked on the exterior I decided to make the interior too. I drew lot of details to produce a nice, smart and credible interior. There are a lot of details but I haven’t all renders yet (I do all my projects on my free times), but I am completed it weeks after weeks. Be patient please !
The name, inspired by a woman race driver.
The name Helenis is inspired by the French actress, model and driver, Hellé Nice (1900 – 1984) who was a race and test driver for Bugatti and a friend of the Bugatti family. This wonderful woman really inspired meto give meaning to this project.
The name is a contraction of Hellé Nice, Helenis.
The Helenis logo is also inspired by the actress. I found one of its rare autograph and I used her writing to draw the Logo.

A Bugatti must to be fast.
As you can see, the body of the boat « flies » over the water in high speed mode. It offers more stability and less dangerous vibrations due to the contact between the water and the body.
Only the big foil and electric turbines stay immersed.
This is a Bugatti. So, when it float normally, the boat must be a Bugatti. that means the shape of the body have to be sexy as a sports car.
The style of the « nose » is inspired by the famous horseshoe of the brand (see it here). It was used first to aspire air to cool the engine of the car. In this project it is used to aspire water and make the boat « fly ».
